Wooden post box - ELC

This wooden post box was given to Dolly for Christmas and although she is still too young to be able to post the wooden envelopes through the letter box, she happily chews on them instead and bashes them together. Betty however, enjoys pretending to be a postman and delivering the letters to Dolly. It is wonderful to watch them begin playing together, and for this, the postbox is a winner!

It looks good and is well made.

More on Gaskett's Dream Racer from ELC

I just wanted to add to the review below that this car has been such a huge success and it is Betty's most favourite toy EVER! She drives everywhere in it; to the bathroom when she needs a wee, to the kitchen when it is lunch-time, and on Christmas day, whilst wearing her butterfly fairy dress, she would drive to the christmas tree to collect each present individually, place it on the parcel shelf behind her and then drive it to the recipient of the present.

The car is on castors so it is really easy to maneavure and turn, and every one of her friends who have visited recently go mad for it. It has got to the point where friends ask to come here to use the car rather than see my darling daughter!

Electronic cash register - ELC

This cash register is pretty impressive. It was given to Betty as a Christmas present, and like most other things from ELC, she loves it! I too had great fun discovering what it does. Both Betty and I loved the fact that you can scan anything across the scanner and it pops up with the price on the LCD screen. Betty scanned her beloved duck and was thrilled that he cost £10, whereas when I scanned my hand across it, I was only worth 20p!

There is a credit card and machine if you want to pay on your card, or lots of crisp notes and coins if you prefer to use money. There is a microphone so that you can put out messages over the tannoy, such as 'All duckies are half price, come quick!' And the cash register has all the functions who would expect from a till, plus more probably! The brains behind this product have thought of everything! And again, it is perfect for a child who loves to roleplay and copy their mummy and daddy. Standing in a supermarket and paying for shopping is something that Betty witnesses all the time so this is fab! Thank you ELC, another great product!
